Supply Chain Administrative Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Support: Create, track, and document purchase orders.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors to follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate records for inventory, shipments, and invoices.
- Logistics Coordination: Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound logistics with vendors and warehouse teams.
- Inventory Management: Conduct physical inventory counts (shipping/receiving) and document supplies.
- Reporting: Prepare and update critical reports, including inventory levels, order status, and supplier performance.
- Documentation: Organize and maintain comprehensive supply chain documentation (e.g., contracts, receipts, compliance forms).
- Problem Resolution: Help identify and resolve supply delays or administrative bottlenecks.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and internal communications.
- General Support: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree or relevant coursework in supply chain, business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of administrative experience; prior experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement is a significant plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook). Familiarity with inventory or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of seeing projects through from start to finish.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and adept at prioritizing tasks.
- Teamwork: Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

This position operates within an office/warehouse environment located in a Pathology Laboratory.

Occasional lifting or handling of supply-related materials (under 50 lbs.) may be required.
Salary: $23/hour+ Depending on Experience
Hours: Part-time (Mondays and Fridays preferred)
