Assembler Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts/components into finished units; prepare/line/pad cartons, crates, and containers as needed.
- Perform routine inspections and measurements to confirm quality and packaging specifications.
- Record quantities produced and complete basic production logs/reports.
- Operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic equipment (as assigned).
- Maintain a clean, organized work area to 5S standards.
- Meet established cycle times, follow written/verbal instructions, and rotate into other cell positions as needed.
Assembler Skills & Qualifications:
- Manufacturing/production experience required.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong hand-eye coordination (including small-part assembly).
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Ability to differentiate colors (wires/components) and maintain consistent quality.
- Basic computer and basic math/reading skills.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Temperature-controlled manufacturing environment; may be exposed to fuels/solvents, glue, paint, adhesives, and sealant fumes.
- Frequent lifting 15 lbs ; may lift/place up to 45 lbs repeatedly and up to 70 lbs occasionally .
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, push/pull, maneuver around machinery, and wear required PPE (including eye protection).
