Responsibilities
- Provide direct A/V and classroom technology support for instructional spaces, meetings, and events (in-room and live/streamed).
- Troubleshoot moderately complex issues across room A/V systems, controllers, conferencing tools, cameras, and connected devices.
- Support installations, setups, and standard operating procedures—including system status checks, issue documentation, and downtime response steps.
- Coordinate training, scheduling, and day-to-day guidance for staff and/or student employees who support technology services.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree plus 2+ years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on work).
- Proven experience with classroom A/V systems and controller hardware/software, including installs, setups, and ongoing support.
- Working knowledge of streaming and web-conferencing platforms, camera operation, room A/V equipment, portable sound reinforcement, and video projection.
- Comfortable supporting both Windows and Apple environments; strong customer service skills with adaptability, organization, communication, and flexibility (including willingness to work extended hours as needed).
