Pay:
$21.45/hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 4pm-12:30am
Location:
Lenexa, KS
Blaster - Key Responsibilities:
- Blast metal parts using steel grit to remove rust/scale and prepare surfaces for coating/paint
- Prep, stage, and move materials to support production flow
- Operate overhead cranes to position and transport parts safely
- Operate a forklift to load/unload and move materials
- Follow work instructions and maintain quality and safety standards
- Use required PPE and keep the work area clean and organized
Blaster - Qualifications:
- Education: None required; must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly
- Experience:
- Forklift experience and certification preferred
- Strong, reliable attendance history
Blaster - Skills & Abilities Required:
- Ability to read work orders
- Basic understanding of measurements/units
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Comfortable performing simple, repetitive tasks consistently
Physical & Screening Requirements:
- Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening, background check, and physical exam
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing/pulling, and reaching
- Must be able to lift/carry/drag up to 100 lbs if necessary
- Comfortable working in small/tight spaces
- Must be able to wear PPE including safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes
- Ability to go up and down two flights of stairs
- Ability to work non-traditional hours (including evenings) if needed
