Blaster - Key Responsibilities:

• Blast metal parts using  steel grit  to remove rust/scale and prepare surfaces for coating/paint
• Prep, stage, and move materials to support production flow
• Operate  overhead cranes  to position and transport parts safely
• Operate a  forklift  to load/unload and move materials
• Follow work instructions and maintain quality and safety standards
• Use required PPE and keep the work area clean and organized

Blaster - Qualifications:

• Education:  None required; must be able to  read, write, and communicate clearly
• Experience:
  • Forklift experience and certification  preferred
  • Strong, reliable  attendance  history

Blaster - Skills & Abilities Required:

• Ability to  read work orders
• Basic understanding of  measurements/units
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Comfortable performing  simple, repetitive tasks  consistently

Physical & Screening Requirements:

• Ability to pass  drug/alcohol screening, background check, and physical exam
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing/pulling, and reaching
• Must be able to lift/carry/drag up to  100 lbs  if necessary
• Comfortable working in  small/tight spaces
• Must be able to wear PPE including  safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes
• Ability to go up and down  two flights of stairs
• Ability to work  non-traditional hours (including evenings) if needed
