We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the manufacturing sector. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing sales of manufactured products and solutions. The ideal candidate has strong industry knowledge, consultative selling experience, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within target manufacturing markets

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including plant managers, procurement teams, engineers, and executives

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive activity, and customer needs

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close profitable deals

Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting in CRM systems

Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions

Proven success in B2B sales; industrial sales experience strongly preferred

2+ years of outside or field sales experience

Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and territory independently

Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
