As Catalog Manager , you’ll shape the catalog lifecycle from launch through end-of-life, stay ahead of market trends, and help customers quickly choose the right parts and equipment to keep their operations moving. Located in the northwest St. Louis metro area, this full-time, onsite role works Monday–Friday from 7:00am–3:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Manage product lifecycle and catalog strategy, including pricing, profit margins, and inventory min/max levels for stock and non-stock items.
- Partner cross-functionally (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and satellite offices) to support daily operations and promote new, existing, and slow-moving products.
- Build and manage supplier relationships—negotiating, onboarding vendors for new products, and ensuring quality standards for incoming/outgoing shipments.
- Serve as a technical resource: support/troubleshoot product questions and deliver hands-on customer training (including quarterly seminars).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business (or related field).
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced purchasing and customer service environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a cross-functional environment.
