- 3+ years in testing and certifying electrical equipment, preferably in aerospace or similar regulated industries.
- Proficient with oscilloscopes, DVMs, data acquisition systems, and general electrical lab equipment.
- Familiarity with FAA TSO, STC, PMA processes, and standards like DO-160, DO-311A, MIL-STD-810/461.
- High school diploma or GED required; engineering degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Duties:
- Plan, execute, and document tests to ensure compliance with FAA and industry standards.
- Author test plans, procedures, and reports to support regulatory certification activities.
- Build test setups, assist with prototype evaluation, and operate test equipment in a hands-on lab environment.
- Coordinate with external test labs and internal teams to support project timelines and goals.
- Provide testing expertise for production and evaluate new technologies to enhance product safety and reliability.
