Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to lead and support municipal and infrastructure projects from concept through construction. This role involves direct collaboration with clients, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and oversight of design and construction phases. Ideal candidates bring strong technical skills, project management experience, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions in a flexible, team-oriented environment. Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to define project goals, establish design criteria, and align priorities across internal teams.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and estimates to ensure delivery on time and within scope.
- Lead the production of high-quality construction documents alongside a team of skilled technical professionals.
- Review project deliverables at multiple design stages, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Coordinate designs with public agencies, private stakeholders, and utility providers.
- Support construction administration by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and evaluating change order requests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE); Nebraska or Iowa licensure preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of civil or municipal design experience; 8+ years preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
- Proficient in project planning, budgeting, and multi-project coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
