CNC Machinist Shift & Schedule
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
- Overtime: As needed on Fridays
- Position Type: Full-time
CNC Machinist Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines to produce precision machined parts.
- MILL Experience, 3- ,4-, and 5-axis mills
- Aluminum, stainless, and titanium experience
- Set and align fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to meet specifications.
- Monitor machine performance, including feed and speed, throughout the machining process.
- Measure and inspect completed parts for defects and conformance using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, and related tools).
- Complete required documentation (inspection documents, travelers, and other paperwork).
- Perform minor mechanical and assembly work as needed.
- Provide support across the shop by multitasking, cross-training on various machines, and sharing expertise with teammates.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
CNC Machinist Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2+ years of machining experience with advanced knowledge of machining operations and tolerances.
- Understanding of basic math and geometric tolerances .
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering plans, procedure manuals, and work instructions .
- Mazatrol experience would be a great benefit (Mazak CNC Mills)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs .
- Positive, customer-focused, “can do” attitude.
- Self-starter with strong motivation and willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed.
- Must have own tools and be willing to cross-train/multitask.
