CNC Machinist Schedule:
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
CNC Machinist Pay:
- $25–$35/hour , based on skill level and experience
CNC Machinist Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quantity production parts
- Load/unload material and parts; monitor machine cycles and production flow
- Verify parts to print using precision measuring tools (ex: calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Make basic offsets/tool adjustments as needed to maintain part quality
- Perform in-process inspections and document results as required
- Change inserts/tools, identify tool wear, and keep tooling organized
- Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow all safety procedures
- Communicate issues with quality, tooling, materials, or equipment to the lead/supervisor
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- CNC machining experience in a production environment (setup and/or operation depending on skill level)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings and understand tolerances
- Comfortable with fast-paced, high-volume work and meeting production goals
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring equipment accurately
- Dependable attendance for weekend shift coverage
CNC Machinist Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience with both CNC mill and CNC lathe
- Experience with common controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for minor machine/process issues
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/production shop environment
- Standing, lifting, and repetitive motion may be required (details can be adjusted to match the site)
