We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial & Logistics Support Administrator to play a key role in streamlining our operational workflows. In this dynamic position, you'll support both commercial and logistics teams by managing contract and shipment data, coordinating load authorizations, assisting with the bid process, and ensuring timely entry of critical information into our systems. Duties:

  • Enter and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders (SOs) with accuracy, supporting proper documentation, tracking, and billing.

  • Coordinate with logistics and facility teams to schedule and monitor the shipment of various metal commodities, ensuring alignment with commercial commitments.

  • Assist in reconciling inbound and outbound shipments by matching receivers and shippers to corresponding POs and SOs, ensuring accurate invoicing and payment processing.

  • Support the commercial team with freight rate analysis, expense tracking, and generation of supplier and market reports.

  • Help maintain and improve system use (e.g., RIMAS), offering administrative support and assisting in team training on internal tools and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics, business, or supply chain a plus.

  • 5 years of experience in customer support, transportation, logistics coordination, or commercial operations.

  • Strong attention to detail with a solid understanding of logistics workflows, freight management, and scheduling.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with logistics systems such as RIMAS is highly preferred.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
