Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with flexibility)
Salary: $115,000+ based on experience, plus bonus potential
Location: Johnston, IA
Primary Responsibilities

Manage all accounting operations including general ledger, monthly close, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP.

Oversee and refine job costing systems, including WIP reporting, revenue recognition, and analysis of project profitability.

Direct all client billing (including AIA formats), subcontractor payments, and financial controls for construction projects.

Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in collaboration with leadership and project teams.

Supervise and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team environment.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.

6–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on job costing and project accounting in the construction industry.

Proficiency in construction accounting software (e.g., Viewpoint Vista, Sage 300 CRE, Procore Financials).

Strong knowledge of WIP schedules, Percentage of Completion accounting, and cash flow forecasting.

Proven leadership and team development skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Valid driver’s license and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
