Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Verify customer credit status and ensure pricing consistency.
- Check product availability, shipping timelines, and sourcing options.
- Create and manage electronic sales orders and maintain organized documentation.
- Send order confirmations and update internal order tracking systems.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Inventory, and Shipping teams to route orders appropriately.
- Communicate order status and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Support consignment inventory coordination when applicable.
- Maintain professional, timely, and clear communication with customers and internal departments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; additional education in business, supply chain, or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in order entry, customer service, or sales support roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to step in and support others as needed.
