Help us drive the strategic management and availability of all data assets as our Database Manager , reporting to the CTO and supporting the Infrastructure department. You will spearhead multiple teams overseeing the full data lifecycle, including operational datastores, MDM, data governance, API integrations, and analytics/reporting, ensuring data accessibility aligns with business needs and executive requirements. Your leadership will be critical in maintaining data security through advanced encryption and masking strategies within our AWS environment and across our database technologies. You will be instrumental in enforcing SLAs, software support standards, change control, vulnerability protocols, and company-wide policies. Expect to lead and contribute to significant IT initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:

Directing the day-to-day activities of multiple teams, expertly juggling simultaneous projects.

Establishing challenging yet realistic goals and rigorously managing team performance, including guiding work efforts and ensuring up-to-date skills.

Identifying and evaluating business risks, recommending effective mitigation strategies.

Ensuring continuous audit readiness for internal and external reviews, including advising teams managing their own data.

A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related area, plus at least 3 years of technical experience. Equivalent education and experience will also be considered.

At least 3 years of experience leading teams supporting database systems (both on-premise and cloud), including:

Informatica Cloud

Snowflake (with masking and data sharing expertise)

PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Azure, and AWS (including hybrid solutions and vulnerability management)

Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Mainframe (DB2)

Encryption software
-
Power BI Fabric
-
Windows Server and UNIX
-
Knowledge of Informatica, Power BI, MDM, and ETL products, along with a general understanding of AWS VPC, operating systems, and serverless tech.

Familiarity with information security best practices, CIS benchmarks, and vulnerability management.

Experience in a strict change management environment.
