Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental and regulatory compliance programs to meet Clean Air Act and other relevant requirements.
- Ensure robust processes and procedures are in place to maintain compliance and improve site performance.
- Interface with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with US EPA, IEPA, and local regulations.
- Provide support for proposed projects and assist with site compliance permitting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Plant, consulting, or equivalent.
- Strong program and project management skills with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have Title 5 experience
- Preferred experience working with regulatory agencies and internal teams to resolve compliance and permitting challenges.
- Knowledge of air pollution control technologies and experience with air emissions compliance, including reporting, inventories, and calculations a plus.
- Familiarity with control systems (e.g., DCS) and other process monitoring technologies is desirable
