We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented EHS Compliance Specialist to join our team and take a key role in ensuring the success of our environmental, health, and safety programs. In this dynamic position, you will assist in managing and enhancing our site EHS initiatives, with a strong focus on Air Compliance, while supporting various other compliance areas as needed.   Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement environmental and regulatory compliance programs to meet Clean Air Act and other relevant requirements.
  • Ensure robust processes and procedures are in place to maintain compliance and improve site performance.
  • Interface with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with US EPA, IEPA, and local regulations.
  • Provide support for proposed projects and assist with site compliance permitting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Plant, consulting, or equivalent.
  • Strong program and project management skills with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have Title 5 experience
  • Preferred experience working with regulatory agencies and internal teams to resolve compliance and permitting challenges.
  • Knowledge of air pollution control technologies and experience with air emissions compliance, including reporting, inventories, and calculations a plus.
  • Familiarity with control systems (e.g., DCS) and other process monitoring technologies is desirable
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000
