Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test Epic Professional Billing solutions —deliver independently or alongside partner teams with strong quality and documentation.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and enhancements —handle high-impact issues, new features, and build decisions that require expert-level judgment.
• Translate ambiguity into clear requirements  by partnering with operations/users to map workflows, confirm intent, and define acceptance criteria.
• Represent the PB team in cross-functional work —communicate impacts, options, and tradeoffs clearly to keep work moving and outcomes aligned.

Qualifications

• Epic Professional Billing certification (required)  and demonstrated hands-on build experience (this is a build-focused role).
• Expert-level Epic PB capability : history of complex configuration, testing discipline, and end-to-end delivery—not just ticket handling.
• Lead-level experience  in prior organizations (formal title not required) with evidence of owning difficult builds/issues and mentoring or guiding others.
• Strong operational and workflow fluency  in revenue cycle—able to design solutions that work in real-world billing operations, not just technically “correct” build.
