Responsibilities:
- Prepare income documentation and analyze financial data for a unified group of domestic entities under U.S. tax regulations.
- Determine and process periodic estimated payments and annual filing extensions.
- Create provision entries aligned with global financial reporting standards.
- Evaluate areas of tax uncertainty and contribute to internal control processes.
- Reconcile fiscal accounts and validate tax-related ledger balances.
- Liaise with external audit teams during year-end reporting cycles.
- Provide support for federal inquiries, including compiling records and drafting formal replies.
- Conduct research on complex fiscal topics and monitor changes in tax-related regulations.
- Lead or contribute to initiatives aimed at refining tax procedures and internal workflows.
- Participate in ad hoc reporting tasks and compliance-related projects.
- Partner with internal departments (e.g., finance, legal) and external consultants to ensure accuracy and consistency in all reporting and regulatory efforts.
Must Have:
- Academic background in accounting or similar discipline
- Up to 2 years of experience in a tax-focused role within industry or advisory services
- Skilled in written and spoken communication
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and data analysis tools
- Well-organized with the ability to juggle competing deadlines
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving focus
- Works effectively in group settings
- Experience using professional tax software (e.g., OneSource)
- Additional academic credentials or working towards CPA designation
- Exposure to enterprise systems used in financial reporting (e.g., HFM, BPC)
