Are you a skilled technician with experience in low-voltage systems ? Do you enjoy working in the field, installing and maintaining critical communication and safety systems? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Traveling Fire Alarm, Security, and Access Control Technician to join our team for projects across the country. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of a variety of low-voltage systems and must be willing to travel extensively for project durations.
Pay Range: $28-$34/hour (Based on experience)
Contract to Hire
Shift: NIGHTS 9PM-7AM (may change slightly)
M-F
Location: Dallas TX
Must Have Texas FAL
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and validate paging wire for communication systems.
- Mount and validate paging speakers to ensure optimal performance.
- Install and configure Edwards EST4 Paging Equipment according to project specifications.
- Pull and install fiber optic jumper cables and run conduit for wiring.
- Build our IDF's , pull and terminate fiber
Qualifications:
- Experience with low-voltage wiring, paging systems, or fire alarm equipment preferred.
- Ability to operate scissor and boom lifts (certification is a plus).
- Must provide personal protective equipment (PPE) and basic hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical schematics.
