Forklift Operator Responsibilities
- Obtain forklift license and certification on the first day of employment
- Safely operate sit-down forklift or Hilo truck within warehouse environments
- Transport, stage, and store materials efficiently and responsibly
- Document and scan storage locations and products accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Comply with all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Assist with setting up machines and equipment as needed
- Stack, pack, and transport finished products
Forklift Operator Physical & Skill Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
- Prolonged sitting or standing during shifts
- Reach, grasp, stoop, bend, and kneel as necessary
- Strong attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination
- Previous forklift experience required; warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively within a team
- Commitment to safety and quality practices
Forklift Operator Personal Protective Equipment & Dress Code
- PPE required: safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and closed-toe shoes (all provided)
- Dress code: jeans and a clean T-shirt; no sweatpants or offensive graphics
- B shift - Tuesday - Friday 5:30PM - 5:30AM
- Pay $17.25 per hour
