As a Forklift Operator placed through Allied OneSource, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse or distribution center. The ideal candidate will have experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, high-reach forklifts, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers . A commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork is essential.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, including sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, high reach, scissor lift, and cherry picker .
- Load and unload trailers, railcars, and containers safely and efficiently.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies throughout the facility.
- Pick, stage, and prepare products for shipment according to work orders and inventory systems.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues.
- Follow all OSHA, client, and Allied OneSource safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping goals.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and lifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, high reach, scissor lift, and cherry picker).
- Valid or prior forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 60 lbs on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and productivity.
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) .
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen .
