This role is mostly HR-focused with the potential for acting as a back-up for payroll responsibilities, with HR responsibilities focused on execution and coordination rather than strategic HR leadership. Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle HR Support: Manage daily HR operations, serving as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and workplace culture .

  • Compliance & Reporting: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws; support audits and payroll reporting requirements.

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including facilitating orientation and managing documentation..

  • Onboarding & Administration: Coordinate new hire onboarding, system setup, salary updates, performance review administration, and training records in partnership with the parent People Operations team.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on, HR Generalist experience; Payroll support experience preferred.

  • Systems & Tools: Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP, Paychex, Workday, SAP, or similar; strong Excel skills.

  • Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Attributes: Highly detail-oriented, discreet, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Compensation

$50,000–$65,000 annually plus profit sharing and ESOP
