We're seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Database Assistant to join our litigation support team for a high-profile client. This is a full-time, contract role that offers remote work flexibility after training and the opportunity to play a vital part in managing a large, complex case management database used for active litigation.

This is a full-time, contract role that offers remote work flexibility after training and the opportunity to play a vital part in managing a large, complex case management database used for active litigation.

Duties: 

  • Maintain and manage data within a large-scale litigation database, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper structure across records and fields.

  • Conduct quality control reviews of data entered by internal staff, law firms, and third-party vendors—ensuring compliance with detailed data entry and coding protocols.

  • Import/export data sets, process spreadsheets, and update records in bulk or individually.

  • Reconcile discrepancies, investigate database errors, and support the validation and tracking of critical information.

  • Assist in designing report formats and running complex searches as requested by attorneys or litigation support staff.

  • Collaborate with team members and escalate potential issues or trends in data accuracy.

  • Provide Help Desk support by fielding user requests or routing technical issues to the appropriate teams—occasional after-hours or weekend availability may be required during peak periods.

    Requirements: 

  • Proven experience with data entry, spreadsheet tools, and managing structured information (records, fields, codes, etc.).

  • Basic understanding of legal documentation such as complaints, court orders, and discovery materials.

  • Ability to follow complex procedures precisely and maintain high levels of accuracy.

  • Strong communication skills—professional, courteous, and clear in both written and verbal interactions.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

  • Reliable, proactive, and accountable—especially when working remotely.

    Pay: $37,000 - $50,000
