$30/hour
Schedule:
M-F - 6am-3:30PM with some Mandatory OT
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, especially for preventive maintenance
- Experience using power tools, grinders, hoists, hand tools , and precision measuring/diagnostic instruments
- Solid understanding of:
- Pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps
- Cranes
- Power transmission components (belts, pulleys, chains)
- Electrical experience
- CNC machine experience is a plus (not required)
Maintenance Mechanic Duties / Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear task-appropriate PPE; participate in safety inspections and document findings.
- Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
- Safely operate cranes, hoists, power tools, and hand tools .
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system.
- Use measuring and diagnostic equipment for repair and preventive maintenance work.
- Perform preventive maintenance throughout the facility to ensure safe and correct operation of machinery.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment such as engines, conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, hydraulic equipment , and (when applicable) CNC machines .
- Request replacement parts as needed and complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain and expand electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge through ongoing training.
- Operate forklifts and scissor lifts as needed.
- Identify improvement opportunities and submit ideas through the Continuous Improvement Program.
- Manage workload effectively, prioritize multiple jobs, and maintain professional communication.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with applicable requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (when required).
- Ability to sit, stand, climb, bend, kneel regularly
- Regular use of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Occasional close visual work (documentation or computer screens)
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience (5+ years preferred/required for this assignment)
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and CNC equipment
- Comfortable using computers/CMMS systems
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
