  Allied OneSource is seeking skilled and safety-focused Maintenance Technicians for placement with one of our valued manufacturing or production clients. This role is ideal for hands-on professionals experienced in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC maintenance who are comfortable working in fast-paced industrial environments.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair activities to ensure production equipment and facility systems operate safely and efficiently. This position supports daily production operations, troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with installations or upgrades.
Technicians in this role may work directly on or around production lines, conveyors, and automated equipment, supporting overall plant reliability and performance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on production and facility equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues involving motors, conveyors, sensors, and control systems to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, lubrications, and system checks according to established schedules.
  • Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed.
  • Assist with equipment installations, system upgrades, and line changeovers.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
  • Accurately record maintenance activities in logs, forms, or maintenance management software.
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to improve equipment uptime and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production and management teams to ensure maintenance priorities align with operational needs.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
  • 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred, including HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Experience working on or around production machinery, conveyors, or automated systems.
  • Comfortable using a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to document work accurately.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to work different shifts, weekends, or overtime as required by production needs.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced manufacturing or production facility environment.
  • Exposure to loud noise, moving machinery, elevated surfaces, and industrial chemicals.
  • Must adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
  • Work may involve standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting throughout the shift.

Schedule & Pay
  • Full-Time, Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts)
  • Some weekend or off-shift work may be required based on production schedules
  • Pay rate: Competitive and based on experience
