Key Responsibilities
- Support production by reducing equipment and tooling downtime using preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and complete all required documentation accurately
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues with a target of < 30-minute mean time to repair (MTTR)
- Assist with fabrication, installation, and implementation of equipment and facility improvement projects
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with MSDS and applicable regulations
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and findings clearly and accurately
- Follow all emergency procedures and safety protocols
- Take on additional duties as needed to support operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Manufacturing environment experience (preferred; 1+ year )
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Solid technical understanding of machinery, equipment, and components
- Ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Health, Safety, Physical Requirements
- Ability to handle tools, operate controls, and perform hands-on mechanical work
- Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
- Manual dexterity for small components and detailed work
- Ability to stand for extended periods ( 8+ hours )
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, or elevated platforms
- Strong hand-eye coordination and balance
- Ability to clearly communicate and follow verbal instructions
- Ability to perform computer-based tasks as needed
