We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to support production and warehouse operations by ensuring the timely movement, tracking, and availability of materials throughout the facility. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, and coordinating material flow to maximize operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, assembly, distribution, or warehouse environments and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.


Location: Louisville, KY
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM
Pay: $55,000 Annual Salary (Non-Exempt) + Overtime Eligibility

Material Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available to support production schedules.
  • Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records within the ERP/WMS system.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Work closely with production, shipping, receiving, and purchasing teams to resolve material shortages and discrepancies.
  • Verify material accuracy and ensure proper labeling and storage procedures are followed.
  • Track inventory movements and investigate inventory variances.
  • Assist with receiving incoming materials and staging components for production.
  • Maintain organized warehouse and material storage areas.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and material flow.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Material Coordinator Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, material coordination, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support.
  • Experience using ERP, MRP, or Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory software.
  • Ability to accurately manage inventory records and transactions.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
