We are seeking qualified Mechanical Assembler candidates that to join our Upfitting team. Candidates with great attendance, good attitudes and ability to learn have the opportunity for pay increases and growth potential. 


Pay = $20/hour
Schedule = Monday-Friday -
6am-4:30PM - Occasional Sat OT

Mechanical Assembler – Job Summary

The mechanical assembler role is a progressive, skills-based position focused on building technical expertise, maintaining high safety standards, and supporting efficient, team-oriented operations. Success in this role is measured by the ability to continuously expand technical capabilities, reliably perform Level 2 core responsibilities, and consistently meet the proficiency requirements associated with each technician level.

Technicians are expected to demonstrate strong accountability, productivity, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This role emphasizes results-driven performance, collaboration, adherence to established standards, and a clear dedication to advancing to higher technician levels over time.


Role Expectations

Success as a Technician includes achieving the following:

Technician Skill Levels
  • Level 1: Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following areas:

    • Sub-assembly

    • Jig work

    • Installation

    • Basic electrical work

    • Basic decal installation

  • Level 2: Demonstrated proficiency in jig work, assembly, and installation

  • Level 3: Proficiency in a Level 2 role plus demonstrated proficiency in either:

    • Advanced electrical work, or

    • Basic graphics

  • Level 4: Proficiency in a Level 2 role plus:

    • Advanced electrical and basic graphics, or

    • Advanced graphics (full wrap)

  • Level 5: Proficiency in a Level 2 role plus demonstrated proficiency in:

    • Advanced electrical work, and

    • Advanced graphics (full wrap)

Operational Expectations
  • Immediately identify, resolve, and communicate safety concerns

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility


Key Skills and Behaviors

  • Knowledge of required installation documentation

  • Ability to identify and communicate risks promptly

  • Proficiency with air and hand tools; ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to identify and eliminate waste to improve productivity

  • Results-oriented mindset; consistently meets or exceeds goals

  • Strong adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines

  • Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills

  • Effective problem-solving abilities

  • Demonstrated capability and motivation to advance to the next technician level
