Required Skills:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice
- At least 1 year of professional OT experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and IEP processes
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to follow all relevant professional standards and comply with legal employment requirements
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
- Advanced training in sensory integration or other specialized therapy techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (e.g., Master’s or Doctorate)
- Prior experience in educational or pediatric environments
Other Requirements:
- Current CPR certification
- TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray)
- Current health certificate, per state or contract requirements
- Willingness to work in the Kent, WA school district starting 8/26/2026
