Requirements:

High school diploma required; additional coursework or college experience is a plus

At least 1 year of experience with One Call ticket management systems (e.g., irth Utilisphere), utility locating, GIS, or call center support preferred

Familiarity with underground telecom infrastructure and damage prevention best practices

Excellent attention to detail, reading comprehension, and ability to manage tasks independently in a remote setting

Strong communication skills via phone and email, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Review and process locate requests using internal ticketing software to ensure timely and accurate routing

Analyze GIS mapping tools to identify and verify underground utility paths

Respond to inquiries from contractors and field teams via email and voicemail regarding locate concerns

Collaborate with Outside Plant teams and third-party locators to resolve fiber locating challenges and address service issues

Report confirmed infrastructure damages and continuously build expertise in map reading and ticket interpretation
