The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of MRP systems, and the ability to effectively coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve material and scheduling issues efficiently.

In this pivotal role, you will manage purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers, maintain optimal inventory levels, and develop and monitor the master production schedule to meet customer demands and achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of MRP systems, and the ability to effectively coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve material and scheduling issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Execute the Production Cycle: Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the final approval of products through the entire production cycle.
  • Maintain and Adjust the Master Production Schedule: Coordinate and monitor the master production schedule for Salisbury, making necessary changes to address issues and ensure monthly revenue targets are met.

  • Oversee Production Logistics and Support: Manage production schedules considering customer demands, supplier delivery, quality plans, and manufacturing processes, including handling outside processing (e.g., plating, painting) and internal scrap reorder coordination.

  • Ensure Data Accuracy and Effective Coordination: Alert the engineering department to inaccuracies in Bills of Materials (BOMs) and New Product Releases, and coordinate effectively with the local Salisbury Planner to maintain an up-to-date production schedule and tracker and support purchasing

    Experience/Education:

    2 years of experience in a similar role
    Bachelor's Degree (significant relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered)

    Salary: $70,000+ depending on experience
