- Lead by example and enforce all safety policies and procedures ; report incidents immediately and complete required monthly safety training and audits.
- Supervise corrugator operations and ensure the team produces quality corrugated sheets efficiently and safely.
- Maintain working knowledge of paper grades, applications, and corrugated sheet production processes .
- Plan and direct workflow by monitoring production steps, setting process variables, and improving methods to reduce cost and downtime.
- Execute production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel , setting priorities, tracking progress, adjusting schedules, and documenting shift performance.
- Maintain quality and customer standards by establishing and enforcing operational expectations and procedures.
- Support equipment uptime by coordinating repairs, troubleshooting process issues, evaluating improvements, and analyzing techniques.
- Conduct daily crew meetings covering safety, quality, and performance.
- Compile and analyze production records and data; respond to operational questions and requests.
- Create, update, and implement systems and procedures related to operating practices, documentation, and staffing needs.
- Train and develop employees through coaching, performance feedback, conflict resolution, and documentation.
- Review and approve employee timecards.
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance and work flexible or extended hours as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Production Supervisor Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
Production Supervisor Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of corrugated manufacturing experience
Production Supervisor Required Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret production reports, operating instructions, training materials, and procedure manuals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, including conflict and complaint resolution
- Solid math skills (fractions/decimals) and ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English (including radio communication)
- Strong work ethic, time management, and organizational skills
Physical Requirements

- Occasional kneeling and overhead reaching
