  We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The Quality Control Inspector will work closely with Quality Control Manager and production teams to identify areas for improvement and ensure that all products meet customer expectations.

Processor 3: Quality Control Specialist
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: M-F 08:00am-4:30pm
Work Location: In person/on Site
Pay:  $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The Quality Control Inspector will work closely with Quality Control Manager and production teams to identify areas for improvement and ensure that all products meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Testing and Inspection:
  • Conducting various inspections and processes and finished products.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation:
  • Analyzing test results, comparing them to specifications, and identifying deviations.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
  • Identifying and troubleshooting quality issues, investigating deviations, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintaining accurate records, writing technical reports (e.g., deviation reports), and generating data for regulatory submissions.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Working with management and other departments to address quality issues and implement improvements.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Monitoring testing procedures, ensuring compliance with standards, and participating in internal assessments and audits.
  • Method Development and Validation:
  • May be involved in developing and validating new analytical methods.
  • Training:
  • May train other analysts on procedures. Operate packing machinery.
  • Always treat merchandise with care and concern.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment regularly.
  • Ability to work on feet and frequent bending and squatting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain good attendance.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items 50-90 lbs.
  • Jobs will be assigned daily to each individual based on business needs.
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
  • 1-2 years Warehousing + 1-2 years in Quality Control
  • LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid Missouri driver's license.
  • Current Forklift Certification or willing to obtain immediately after hiring process.
  • Proficient knowledge of computers and Microsoft applications is a plus
  • Great customer service skills.
  • KNOWLEDGE OF:
  • Warehousing methods and procedures.
  • Methods of receiving, inspecting and issuing materials.
  • Materials, equipment and supplies used on a daily basis
  • Operation of a forklift and other assigned vehicle and equipment.
  • Warehouse operations, procedures, equipment and terminology.
  • Health and safety regulations.
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
  • Microsoft applications including word and excel.
  • Automated warehouse inventory system
  • ABILITY TO:
  • Operate warehouse vehicles, machines and equipment.
  • Receive, issue, store and return warehouse stock and supplies.
  • Lift, move, sort and store objects.
  • Learn to operate a computer and warehouse-related software. Process orders by using computers and scanners
  • Work independently with little direction.
  • Observe health and safety regulations.
  • Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 90 pounds
  • Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases
