Quality Inspector
– $25/hour
Position Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting parts against engineering specifications and design tolerances to ensure product quality prior to use in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect incoming parts from internal and external suppliers with minimal supervision.

Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformances to the Quality Manager or Quality Engineer.

Collaborate daily with the Quality Manager to align on inspection priorities and production needs.

Review and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T callouts.

Support production priorities by ensuring timely inspection of critical components.

Assist in the creation of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for parts that fail inspection.

Perform sorting operations as required.

Complete additional duties as assigned based on site needs.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing work environment with shifting priorities.

High attention to detail and ability to maintain focus for extended periods.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.

Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

Solid problem-solving abilities; quality inspection background strongly preferred.

Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, scopes, and microscopes.

Ability to work for extended periods using a microscope.

Experience with visual inspection systems (e.g., Keyence, OGP SmartScope) is highly preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.

Availability to work weekends as needed.
