Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming materials and production output; document results and certify product for shipment
- Identify, label, and contain non-conforming material; verify corrections are completed
- Use continuous improvement tools to report issues/opportunities; support team problem-solving
- Maintain accurate records, cleanliness/organization, and follow all safety/PPE requirements
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed; train others on inspection procedures when assigned
Quality Inspector Requirements:
- High school diploma (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years welding and/or quality inspection experience in manufacturing/fabrication
- Skilled with measurement/inspection tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in a typical factory environment
