Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing-related field or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience within Tier 1 automotive manufacturing
- 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in quality roles
- Strong proficiency with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, etc.)
- Qualified for color and appearance testing, with experience with color testing equipment (e.g., Macbeth)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Expertise in customer complaint resolution and supplier quality management
- Experience with data-driven reporting systems and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to quality operations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in a manufacturing-related field and/or ASQ certification
- Over 5 years of dedicated experience in automotive quality engineering
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to oversee supplier audits and site visits
- Ability to escalate and communicate critical risks effectively
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with internal, customer, and AIAG requirements
Salary Range: $120,000–$130,000 plus bonus potential
