Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled School Psychologist to support students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral success. In this in-person role, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
The School Psychologist plays a critical role in evaluating student needs, supporting mental health and developmental growth , and helping determine eligibility for specialized services in accordance with state and district guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to support student evaluations and eligibility determinations
- Provide individual and group counseling services to address emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support plans
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Assist in developing interventions and strategies to improve student outcomes
- Support crisis intervention and promote a positive school climate
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all compliance standards
- Active Arizona State License as a School Psychologist (required)
- Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field (preferred)
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations (preferred)
- Strong understanding of special education processes, assessment tools, and intervention strategies
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Must comply with all professional standards of practice
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Current CPR certification
- TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray)
- Current health certificate (per state or contract requirements)
