Duties:
- Act as the primary support partner to the Data Center Operations Manager, helping oversee daily operations and step into leadership responsibilities as needed
- Lead and support customer implementations, including rack & stack, cabling, cross-connects, and provisioning activities
- Provide high-quality customer support by managing service requests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution
- Mentor and guide junior technicians, helping elevate team performance while maintaining operational excellence across the facility
- 5+ years of experience in data center operations, telecommunications, or colocation environments, with deep knowledge of carrier networks, transport technologies, and critical facility infrastructure
- Hands-on expertise with fiber optics (installation, termination, testing), DC power systems, and core networking technologies such as DWDM, Ethernet, IP, and SONET
- Strong understanding of critical infrastructure systems, including electrical distribution (UPS, generators, switchgear) and HVAC systems within a data center environment
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of managing priorities independently, supporting customers directly, and contributing to high-performing technical teams
