Allied OneSource is seeking a Senior Skilled Trades Recruiter / Account Manager to help grow our business by recruiting top talent and building strong client relationships. In this role, you’ll act as an extension of the sales team by managing requisitions, partnering with hiring managers, and delivering high-quality candidates while creating a best-in-class candidate experience.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for Skilled Trades and Light Industrial roles, including Welders, Machinists, Maintenance Technicians, Fabricators, Assemblers, and similar positions
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and ATS/database sourcing
- Conduct phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess skills, culture fit, availability, and compensation expectations
- Partner with clients and hiring managers to clarify job requirements, priorities, and hiring timelines
- Coordinate interviews, feedback, offers, onboarding, and start-date readiness
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity, notes, and communication updates
- Drive account growth through strong service, market insight, and consistent relationship management
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of staffing or recruiting experience required; Skilled Trades or Light Industrial recruiting experience preferred
- Account management or client-facing experience in a staffing or sales environment preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and clients
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage a high-volume workload
- Strong follow-through, urgency, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using ATS/CRM systems, Microsoft Office, email, job boards, and sourcing tools
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting for welding, machining, maintenance, fabrication, assembly, or related trades
- Experience negotiating offers and closing candidates
- Knowledge of employment practices and compliance basics, including I-9s, background checks, drug screens, and wage/hour guidelines
- Experience developing new business or expanding existing client accounts
Education & Schedule
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Full-time
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
