We’re looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to help keep our operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll coordinate the movement of commodities across multiple facilities, ensuring shipments are received, documented, and delivered accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with our Marketing, Commercial, and Operations teams to support daily logistics and drive continuous process improvement.
- Manage all aspects of receiving, tagging, inventory control, and outbound shipping using the company’s RIMAS system.
- Coordinate shipment scheduling and dock operations, handling bulk, container, FTL, and rail freight efficiently.
- Inspect and verify inbound and outbound freight for accuracy, quality, and documentation; resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Enter and maintain purchase and sales orders, track receiving weights, and assist with invoicing, payments, and freight cost analysis.
- Support process improvements and team training in warehouse systems and procedures.
- Operate forklifts, skid steers, or loaders as needed (training provided).
- Follow all safety, PPE, and OSHA guidelines in an industrial environment.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or transportation operations (rail, container drayage, FTL, flatbed, etc.).
- Strong understanding of terminal, dock, and warehouse workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and related tools; experience with RIMAS or Shared Logic preferred.
- Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Team-oriented, professional, and dependable with a strong sense of ownership.
- Forklift or heavy equipment certification a plus (training available).
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, industrial environment with changing priorities.
