Shipping & Receiving Technician

  We are seeking  a Shipping & Receiving Technician to support daily warehouse operations by receiving, picking, pulling, staging, and shipping materials safely and accurately. This role supports inventory control and ensures transactions are processed correctly in the system.


Schedule:  4x10s (four 10-hour shifts)
Pay:  $23–$28/hr (based on experience)

Shipping & Receiving Technician Job Duties:
  • Receive inbound deliveries accurately (physically and in the system)
  • Pick, pull, and fulfill internal material requests in a timely manner
  • Process outbound shipments efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Support purchasing with supplier returns as needed
  • Build crates as needed to ship finished units to customers (per required standards)
  • Move product by loading, transporting, and staging materials as required
  • Assign and adjust storage locations; update location/inventory records
  • Prepare orders for shipment by verifying location, staging product, and resolving issues
  • Help control inventory by coordinating product movement and maintaining accuracy
  • Complete inventory counts and assist with physical inventories as needed
  • Maintain forms, logs, reports, and system records
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and complete other assigned duties

Shipping & Receiving Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years  of related shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
  • Forklift experience preferred  (1+ year is a plus)
  • Proficiency with  Microsoft Office  and general computer skills
  • Experience using  Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Understanding of materials flow, warehouse processes, and order fulfillment
  • Working knowledge of inventory management concepts

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing/walking, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and squatting
  • Ability to lift/move up to  60 lbs
  • Ability to stand for  8+ hours  per day
