Position Overview

This is an evergreen opportunity to join our Special Education Teacher talent pool . By applying, you will be considered for current and future openings across our partner school districts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals
  • Provide differentiated instruction tailored to various learning styles and abilities
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
  • Monitor and document student progress while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings
  • Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and support strategies
  • Utilize evidence-based practices, assistive technology, and behavior interventions

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Active or eligible State Teaching Certification in Special Education
  • Knowledge of IDEA regulations , IEP processes, and inclusive instructional practices
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet a wide range of student needs

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with students across a range of disabilities (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, emotional/behavioral disorders, learning disabilities)
  • Familiarity with co-teaching or inclusive classroom models
  • Experience with assistive technology and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
