Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze manufacturing and operational cost data, variances, and trends
- Compare standard material and labor costs to actual results; investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare and post standard costs and cost of goods sold (COGS) as part of the month-end close process
- Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliations, and transaction audits
- Support physical inventory counts and year-end audit activities
- Partner with operations, procurement, and finance teams to align cost strategies and support business decisions
- Analyze cost drivers and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, operations, or related fields
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities
