$25/hour paid internship
6 weeks starting in June
40 hours/week in office - Overland Park, KS Responsibilities
  • Participate in a structured, paid internship focused on building foundational knowledge of property and casualty insurance

  • Rotate through key business functions such as sales support, customer service, claims, and operations

  • Assist with real business projects including research, process analysis, and growth or retention initiatives

  • Analyze workflows and procedures and contribute recommendations for improvement

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership on findings and project outcomes

  • Develop core professional skills including communication, time management, and presentation

  • Complete insurance fundamentals training and prepare for property and casualty licensing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute meaningfully to day-to-day operations

  • Engage with senior leaders and mentors through regular touchpoints and feedback sessions
     

Qualifications
  • Recent bachelor’s degree graduate (May 2026 or December 2025) in business, finance, economics, marketing, risk management, or a related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional presence

  • Above-average technical aptitude and comfort learning new systems and tools

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and attention to detail

  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and energized by fast-paced, high-growth environments

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle a demanding workload

  • Willingness to take ownership, assist wherever needed, and operate with a team-first mentality

  • Demonstrated leadership potential through academics, extracurricular activities, internships, or work experience
