Duties:
- Modify SharePoint administrative and configuration settings to support development efforts, such as taxonomy, site columns, content types, and metadata.
- Update and enhance the custom search functionality to improve search accuracy and user experience.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint search pages, ensuring efficient retrieval and presentation of information.
- Manage taxonomy and classification within SharePoint, ensuring proper categorization and organization of content.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their search requirements and implement custom search solutions to meet their needs.
- Perform standard keyword searches and provide support for users
- in finding and accessing information within SharePoint.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer/Administrator, working with SharePoint 2012 on-prem and intermediate knowledge of the newest version of SharePoint.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint administration, configuration, and customization.
- Proficiency in developing and modifying search functionality in SharePoint.
- Familiarity with managing taxonomy and classification within SharePoint.
- Knowledge of site columns, content types, and metadata management in SharePoint.
