Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Computer Science, or related) with 5+ years of HVAC controls or embedded systems experience, or a technical diploma with 10+ years of relevant HVAC controls experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, embedded system testing, or building automation systems; experience with BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, or similar communication protocols is a plus.
• Experience executing functional, integration, regression, or system-level testing with strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Collaborative, hands-on professional with excellent communication skills, a mentoring mindset, and a passion for solving technical challenges.

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual test plans and procedures for embedded firmware, electrical controls, user interfaces, and HVAC system functionality.
• Validate product performance by performing functional, integration, system, and communication protocol testing while identifying, documenting, and resolving defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support new product development, design reviews, product validation, and continuous quality improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers, contribute to improving testing processes, and help build the foundation for future test automation initiatives.
