Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Welder Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on sub-assemblies and finished products per written/verbal instructions
- May perform air arc gouging on steel in multiple positions (flat/horizontal/vertical)
- Conduct in-process inspection/testing and verify weld quality
- Clean and prep parts for the next operation; maintain accurate documentation
- Operate shop equipment as needed (may include forklifts, overhead cranes/manipulators, and lifts)
- Follow all safety, PPE, and quality system requirements; keep a clean, organized work area
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities; assist with training as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interpret work instructions and read prints ; weld to print preferred
- Prior welding experience supporting production environments (typically mid-level)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
